What is the new framework to keep novice drivers safe?

Novice drivers often make mistakes on the road that cause an accident, leading to serious injury or death. For this reason, many countries are looking into ways to help beginner drivers to improve their skills in an efficient and effective manner.

A recent report by The Traffic Injury Research Foundation studies the new comprehensive Graduated Driver Licensing framework. This has been developed to deal with the increased crash risk of new and young drivers.

Data shows car accidents more likely to kill men than women

Ontario residents may be surprised to learn that, over the last 10 years, twice as many men have died in car accidents than women. According to the data, which was released on March 23, more than 2,300 men were killed while approximately 1,140 women died.

The data was taken between 2005 and 2014. The total number of deaths caused by car collisions within this time span was reported to be 3,504 individuals. Construction site accident kills 2 workers in Ontario

According to authorities, two men died in a construction site accident on March 27 in the High Park neighbourhood in Toronto. Reportedly, the accident occurred following a collapse of scaffolding shortly after 11 a.m.

The two men were contractors working at the site. The site, located on Bloor Street near its intersection with Pacific Avenue, is currently being developed into a condominium complex. Officers with the Toronto Police Department were called to the scene along with emergency medical personnel. One worker was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.… Continue Reading
